SELECTIVE ACTIVISM IS BASED ON PREFERENCE
It should not matter as a principle if it cannot be applied consistently, because then it stops being a real principle and just becomes based on preference instead of true justice. Honestly,I feel like if we only defend justice when it suits us,then we're not actually defending justice,we're defending ourselves..right?
