Women Rights: Equality or Equity.

So, I saw a topic today, it’s something I see and hear often but I still wonder why people are still asking - WOMEN RIGHTS: EQUALITY OR EQUITY. VOTE FOR OR AGAINST.

bro… it’s 2025. Who’s still putting “women deserve rights” on a ballot like it’s a group decision?

Equality isn’t up for debate. Women deserve equal pay, equal respect, equal shot at every room men walk into without being questioned. Period. That’s not “woke,” that’s basic.

Equity just means we’re smart enough to know “same for everyone” doesn’t fix a system that was never equal to begin with. If the race started 100 years late for half the people, giving everyone the same shoes now isn’t fair. It’s just lazy.

Also, “vote for or against”? That’s insane. You don’t put basic human dignity in a poll like it’s a TikTok trend. Imagine voting on whether people deserve to not get harassed at work or paid less for the same job. That’s not democracy, that’s ick.

The people still asking this are usually the same ones who post “Happy Women’s Day” once a year and go back to interrupting women in meetings the next day. Performative at best, clueless at worst.

So yeah, women deserve equality. Not as a favor, not as a debate topic, not as content. As a default. The 21st century is embarrassed you’re still confused.
