The Middle Borns

The society we live in are made of multiple families. In each family, there is a man, his wife or wives then the children. I don't want to tag the man and the woman as fathers or mothers because a man can get married to multiple women and the children given birth to cannot refer the other wife as their mother.

The Middle borns are essentially the bridge between the eldest and the youngest and I feel they are the most neglected in the family. Get my point, the eldest are respected and loved, the first bundle of joy that enters the household then comes the middle borns or sometimes the second borns and boom the last borns. Last borns are usually taken care of with more love than the others. The eldest are seen as the second in command after the parents. High and mighty if I must add while the Middle Borns, majority are neglected.

Facts shows that majority of middle borns are intelligent and independent. But they should not be treated as such because of their abilities and traits. Other facts mentions that majority of middle borns particularly the male child are in prison or tending to go to prison among other things. Middle Borns are sassy, stubborn, troublesome but that is how they self created themselves. They had to survive and self teach themselves.

I figure that the problem lies with the parents most especially the mothers. Mothers tend to treat the other kids differently than the others especially the last borns and if the last borns are males. Parents would say that they have no favorite but it is a blatant lie. There is a way parents treat a child that they specifically prefer than the rest of the children which is not right if I must say. This will cause enmity among the children.

What I know is that parents should practice the habit of loving their children equally, they are all the same flesh and blood so why must there be a favorite. I strongly believe that someone parents are the earthly representative of God and I wonder if God had favorites, lots of people would have perished.

This is strongly my honest opinion, it may not be the same with others opinion but at least I shared mine.
