LET’S TALK ABOUT MONEY & RELATIONSHIPS❤️💰
Can we be honest for a minute?
You like someone.
They like you too.
Everything is going well…
Until money enters the conversation 😭
Who pays for dates?
Should everything be 50/50?
Should your partner know how much you earn?
Can you genuinely build a future with someone who has no financial plan?
And please, before someone says “love is enough” 😂…
Love is beautiful, but bills still exist.
Money may not be everything in a relationship, but how someone thinks about money can tell you a lot about them.
So, let’s hear it:
Can love survive financial incompatibility?

Okay, let’s make this interesting 👀😂 You have two people who genuinely love each other, but one is a serious saver and the other spends money as soon as it comes in. Can that relationship work? A. Yes, love + communication can fix it B. No, financial incompatibility will eventually cause problems C. It depends… Pick one and tell us WHY. No sitting on the fence
For me, it would be A. A lot of communication and understanding needs to be put in place, but if that's not working, it will birth B, and something to consider before eventually settling down.
I'll go with plan B because in choosing a life partners l will always go for the money smart option, cause we'll need a trust fund for our kids education, joint savings accounts, investment portfolios and many more, love and beauty in our generation no matter how beautiful they look or sound is no longer adequate in our generation
Thankgod someone agreed with me Thankyou for engaging
@Oluwafisayomi Oludare Honestly, I initially went with B 😂 but I really like this perspective. I agree that with enough communication and understanding, some financial differences can be worked through. But if the differences persist despite all efforts, then that’s when it becomes a serious concern. Definitely something to think about before settling down.
I’m going with B. Love can bring two people together, but if one person is constantly saving while the other is constantly spending, that difference can become a serious source of conflict. It’s not about being rich. It’s about having compatible financial values and being willing to communicate. Would you choose love and work through the difference, or walk away?
