They said there's no love in Lagos.
That all girls are the same, that women are materialistic.
My guys had to run from women cause when we went that big, they all gathered to shame us.
I used to fear Lagos girls, awon omo eko
With the cute aesthetic,
mini skirts, low silhouettes, loud perfumes and lip gloss.
Leave no stone unturned when you break the heart of men, they're not sympathetic.
What's the value of love when it's one sided, it isn't even worth the fuss.
I tried looking for love in Agege.
Went again to Oshodi and other places.
But she said she doesn't like men that listen to Gehgeh.
The other one told me she wasn't ready for another relationship, guess she's going through bad phases.
Went searching for love in Palmgrove but her ex still has a say.
The one from Victoria Island's parents don't even want to see me and my family's faces.
The one from Ikorodu is too razz, the one from Mbadiwe is too loud she attends too many owambes and has too many gele.
The one from Ikeja GRA is too proud, I hate her attitude and her make up hidden poor hygiene and dirty braces.
The one from Idumota wanted to leave, I begged her to stay.
I'm scared of falling in love again.
I'm love thirsty and I've got a big heart too.
But what's the solution when the girls I show love to eventually leave me in pain.
The one from Berger said she wanted to focus on herself although I begged her to be my boo.
Now I feel like giving up because to me real love's so vain.
Probably, I've become nonchalant too cause all these girls have been taking me for a fool, yeah and that's true.
No love in Lagos, ko si ife ni lasgidi.
But I did Stronghead and agidi.
Different girls back and forth, I changed them like socks from Ikeja to Oregun, to Rachael, Esther, now Naomi.
I'm getting more vulnerable and reckless, I needed someone.
But now I'm looking for something casual and not love which is common, the I found her...
Then she came into my life...
She's soft-spoken but her dad's from Sangotedo,
Her name is Kimberly and I love her dearly.
From the way this is going I guess she'll be my wife.
Ohun nikan ni mo fe, a beere pelu hi ati hello......
ni few months ago, and now she's become a rare gem in my eyes and how I can see clearly.
Although they said love is blind, she's all I ever needed to find, her love is like fine support that keeps me alive.
She's like me, old money, modern, fashionable, and intelligent, she plays instruments, a trumpet and the cello.
Imagine going from a single man to going to fall in love with a girl you knew barely.
I love you and I know you love me omo lasgidi.
She asked me to tell her what I love most about her and I went straight:
Heads up, I love your brown skin and your posture, your well-arched back.
I look for you and more crave your presence in your absence, when you're not with me.
Queen of the city, they need to crown you, I love your aesthetic and your yellow braid
I'd do anything for your love, if you want anything or need a shoulder to rely on I'd gladly wait.
I got your back
anytime, any day, I love you to the moon and back.
Call me whenever you want to see me,
I'll always be there, I'd never vanish or disappear, if it's you mama I'd never frustrate.
Even if I leave, I'll always come back,
I'll never put you through hell and back.
If you're reading this......., it's never too late,
If you're feeling me come to my place.
But I'm not like those other funny boys, so let's get married, but if I'm going too fast, tell me to wait.
I know we only met a few months back and I'm moving at a very fast pace.
I mean I always loved you and I was scared that one day, you may leave and not stay.
My Espacio Seguro, if you don't speak Spanish, it means my safe space.
Have mercy on me, don't do me bad.
Let me find grace in your eyes, don't let me be depressed and hide my face.
Cause of other girls, I've been heartbroken, vulnerable, depressed and sad.
I mean give me a chance, give me grace.
Without your love, which is an attitude, I might go mad.
Legally, they said there's habeas corpus,
But it's your body I want.
I want this fairy tale to be all about us.
Make me mine and I'll make me yours, it doesn't sound right but it makes sense, I'd love to have you in my life, give me a chance to flaunt..
Flaunt you like currency, hard one, you're my happy place, when I need inspiration you're my muse, my source.
No love in Lagos, propaganda I'm never falling for cause that's where I found my wife to be!! and yes, she's the bounty from the long hunt
My last bus stop.
