"What it really means to defend the "worst" Among us"
Everyone is said not to be guilty until proven innocent. That's the foundation,But in reality; the moment someone gets arrested, people becomes suspicious, tension rises.
As a law student this is the question I have always ask myself "Can we defend bad people?", when I say "bad people", I mean those who commits atrocious heinous crimes. And you know the most fascinating part? Even bad people are guarded by law. Yes, they are also human.
The thing is that"bad people" comes from the society. It's only the image the society paints that has the final say in determining whether someone is bad or not.
Truth to be told: Is crime really crime as far as the person is being arrested by law enforcement?.
They get the "bad people" tag immediately, and then it gets to a stage where they have to prove and convince everyone in the court of public opinion. And from there, the legal process begins where they must now prove their side, challenge the evidence and defend their version of events.
Not labels, Not Public Opinion
