Hey, glad you're here. Someone asked me a question recently that I didn't have an answer to and the answer I eventually found changed how I think about everything.
Someone asked me why I want to be rich and I literally did not know what to say.
Not becaus3 I don't have goals but because who told you I want to be rich? That's not even how I think about it.
Then I paused and I had to laugh at myself.
Because the life I want? Yeah. That requires money. A lot of it. So I guess the answer is yes, I just never wanted it for the reasons people assume.
Here's the thing. It was never about the stuff.
The luxury is enticing, I'm not going to lie, I'll absolutely enjoy that part. But that's not what keeps me up at night. What keeps me up is something way simpler and honestly harder to explain to people.
I just want to own my time.
Like, I don't want to ask for permission to attend an owambe. I don't want to calculate whether I can afford to visit someone I love. I don't want to be stuck somewhere I hate because leaving feels too risky.
I want to wake up and decide what today looks like. That's it.
Wealth for me has always been about freedom first. The cars and the fits are a bonus, a very welcome bonus but still a bonus.
The real flex is a Tuesday with nowhere I have to be unless I chose to be there.
Anyway. You know I had to say it. See you next week.
